A dashboard you build yourself, from the data your vehicle actually answers
Landrover GAP turns a GAP Diagnostic IIDTool BT into a live driving dashboard. Pin the gauges you care about onto as many screens as you like, size them, choose how each one draws, and watch them update while you drive.
- Six ready-made screens — Hybrid, Engine, Diesel, Trip, Tyres, and Tow & Climb — set up and ready to drive with
- Build your own — pin any gauge, pick its style (dial, bar, trend graph or plain number) and size, and arrange screens to suit
- Deep Scan sweeps the parameter catalogue against your vehicle and offers anything it answers as a new gauge
- Alerts that stay quiet until something is actually wrong — a banner, an optional buzz, and a spoken warning so you don't look down
- Tyre pressures and temperatures, read live, with alerts based on one tyre differing from the others rather than a fixed number
- Trip computer and a home-screen widget, plus peak-hold and one-hour history on every gauge
- Nothing leaves your phone — no account, no sign-in, no servers
Honest about what it is showing
A gauge that quietly holds a stale number is worse than a gauge that says nothing. When a value has not been refreshed — because the tool streams a limited number at a time, or the connection dropped — the tile says so instead of leaving the last reading sitting there looking live. A badge at the top of every screen tells you at a glance whether you are looking at real vehicle data, demo data, or nothing at all.
What you need
A GAP Diagnostic IIDTool BT plugged into your vehicle's OBD port, with the ignition on. Which parameters are available depends on your vehicle and its modules — the app discovers what yours answers rather than assuming.
Without the tool, the app still runs: turn on Demo Data in Settings to explore every screen and gauge with a simulated vehicle before you buy the hardware.
Everything happens on the phone
The app talks to the tool over Bluetooth and to nothing else. It has no server, no account and no sign-in, and makes no network requests of its own. Your dashboard layout, your settings and your scan results stay on your device.
