Before you write
The app says "IIDTool not connected"
Check the tool is pushed fully into the OBD port and the ignition is on — the tool has no power otherwise. Then open the Tool tab and tap Connect to IIDTool. If iOS has never been granted Bluetooth for this app, allow it in Settings › Landrover GAP. Only one device can hold the tool at a time, so quit the manufacturer's app if it is running.
A gauge shows "waiting — 8 live gauges max"
The tool streams a limited number of parameters at once. Every gauge on the screen you are looking at is requested, and anything beyond the limit waits its turn. Move the gauge you want to a screen with fewer tiles. Phone-sensor gauges — altitude, compass, GPS speed — are free and never count toward it.
A gauge shows "no data"
That parameter is not being answered by your vehicle right now. Some modules only answer when the engine is running, and tyre sensors report nothing until the wheels have been turning. Run a Deep Scan from the Tool tab to see exactly what your vehicle answers — anything it finds can be pinned as a gauge.
A reading looks wrong
Which parameters exist, and how they scale, varies between vehicles and model years. If a value is clearly implausible, tell us through the form below — include the gauge name, what it showed, and what you expected — and we will look at how that parameter is decoded.
I don't have the tool yet
Turn on Demo Data in Settings (tap the badge at the top of the dashboard). Every gauge and screen then runs against a simulated vehicle, clearly badged DEMO, so you can see what the app does before buying hardware.
